4. When it comes to the cocktails
I recommend sticking to a two-drink maximum; it is best to pace yourself and alternate cocktails with a water, sparkling water or a non-alcoholic beverage. Your body will thank you in the morning.

5. Be prepared
You are shopping all day long in a mall or running around town and fast food options are everywhere. You many be starving, but instead of grabbing for the cheap and easy, try packing some whole grain and fruit options to keep you satisfied throughout the day.

6. Embrace the season!
Go outside and participate in winter activities like ice skating, sledding, snowshoeing or a walk through the snow with your kids.
